School fundamentals
Godolphin Prep is an independent prep day and boarding school for girls (and boys from Sep 2024) between the ages of 3 and 11 years. Boarding from Year 4 for the 10% of pupils who board. All are weekly or flexi boarders. It is a Church of England school, open to all faiths and none. The school has a non-selective admissions policy. Godolphin Prep curriculum
School curriculum is based on the National Curriculum and also includes PSHE, French, Latin. A cross-curricular ‘creative curriculum’ in pre-prep unwinds to subject specific teaching in prep, albeit with cross-curricular humanities. The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.

The Arts at Godolphin Prep
Art and music are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. Drama is part of the co-curriculum. All pupils learn an instrument in class and half take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Choir and three instrument ensembles. The choir has a strong track record in national choral competitions. Each pupil may participate in up to 10 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
